NUCLEAR RADIATION SHIELDING & CONTAINMENT

A cutting-edge lightweight and low viscosity material that can be tailored to address complex radiation shielding challenges. Whether utilized in nuclear remediation projects or as lightweight nuclear transportation and storage containers, AT2LAS is unmatched as it can be pumped over long distances and does not succumb in environments where grout and concrete begin to decay and leach. Unlike lead, one can also utilize our product for structures with individual components manufactured on- or off-site, which are later emplaced by robots. Another application includes multi-part shields produced using component 3D scan data and 3D printed molds to cast a shield that matches the targeted area exactly, limiting any chance of leakage and eliminating the need for lead blankets.

BALLISTIC PROTECTION

Designed to bring low-cost and high-performance ballistic solutions to schools and the general public, AAT’s solutions protect against bullets fired from weapons most used in school and public shootings. Our other variants bring ballistic anti-intrusion doors and lightweight ambidextrous rifle resistant ballistic backpack plates to the market as well. The latter protects the wearer no matter the orientation of the plate. All solutions have been tested by independent laboratories against National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and Underwriters Laboratory (UL) standards.

Why AT2LAS Ballistic Solutions

  • Testing has demonstrated that AAT ballistic doors stop handgun and rifle bullets most used in school shootings (patent pending)
  • Innovative design prevents ricochets, reducing the risk of injury to those nearby
  • Backpack plates provide ambidextrous protection against rifle fire
  • Modular ballistic walls are ideal for outdoor events

ELECTRONIC COATINGS

Cutting-edge IP deserves equally cutting-edge protection. AT2LAS can secure electronic cards with their proprietary conformal coating. Benefits include anti-tamper, anti-intrusion, anti-vibration and decreased processor chip operating temperatures.

High-Strength Non-Metallic Pipeline

Traditional materials in pipes certainly have their weaknesses: corrosion in steel, fragility in plastic and PVC. Manufacturing those pipes to be lighter, as well as more resistant to vibration and degradation from the start—or repairing and strengthening existing pipes—is how AT2LAS can maximize production across various industries.

Aerospace Components

Being 40% lighter than aluminum, castable, non-corroding, and having the ability to absorb significant vibrations, AT2LAS is ideal for certain aerospace components. Having recently passed the rigorous Federal Aviation Administration’s challenging DO-160 testing for shock, vibe, acceleration and flammable environments, AT2LAS was selected to replace traditional machined aluminum components for said project.

Tooling Solutions

An ideal solution for prototype tooling, such as new automotive part designs, AT2LAS can eliminate costly missteps by validating tool designs prior to transitioning to production tooling. Its 18,000 psi compressive yield makes it ideal for traditional stamping or hydroforming aluminum and mild steel. Dies can be cast and delivered approximately 1 month from receipt of engineering data. AT2LAS also provides the ability to modify the die on site. The customer can accomplish this with use of our two part resin system. Once finished with the die, it can be modified to another design or recycled for partial credit against follow-on tooling orders.
